Whimsical Fashion

My love for fashion goes very deep, so deep in fact that it mirrors the materialistic side to my spirituality. I take small steps that create big ripples, and each one is special. That whole statement has managed to make me a lot older than I am… Darn! What, where and how I live my own version of this fashionable life is simple but empowering.

I’m a bit of an activist, and the little writer in me dreams of sharing my personal knowledge with anyone who wants to peek into the witchy life that is mine. My spirituality is one of the most important things in my world, and one of the main tenants I endure happily is vegetarianism and compassion. How would vegetarianism and compassion play in a world of Gucci and perhaps the farmers of Africa? Easily actually. I buy beauty treatments, gifts and household essentials as fairly as I can, and if it has a great big Fair Trade logo on it, I’m happy! I try to buy local too. As for my choice of diet? I support WWF & PETA, even with the bad press they get sometimes, I just do what I think is best. I’m not a huge supporter of PETA in the sense that I live a completely vegan life as I love Dr. Martens, but I do my bit by leaving my animal sin to that.

I am a fan of make-up, though I don’t wear much (I can’t be assed sometimes o.O) and I don’t like wearing heavy make-up. I want people to see me for who I am and what I look like. If ya don’t like it, oh well, your loss! At the moment, which seems to have lasted for a hell of a long time, I love The Body Shop, Lush Cosmetics and anything herbal eg. Neals Yeard, G. Baldwin & Co and James Wong

That is a barely brief description of my foot in fashion. It’s bizarre, but at least I can say I am truly unique right? The fashion updates on this blog will cover anything, from beauty, high fashion, trends, yogi lifestyle and fashion to animal rights petitions and photography from my weekends in Europe with my CuppyCake.
