I subscribed to Empire magazine a few years back, and each month (days before the shops do) I get the subscriber edition of the magazine. This basically entails the title and an exclusive front cover without the articles splashed all over the front, see below:
As you can see, I saw the cover and thought for a second, that the helmet looked familiar. I still couldn’t tell who it was until my cousin walked into the room and shouted ‘Oh yeah, Dredd! – wait… they’ve made a film?’ So with all the ‘hints’ that this is the Age of the Superhero Movie, I didn’t expect this! And I usually get ‘hints’ before they are made public via special sources. Seriously? How did you folks not tell me?! Oh… I know things too! [note for the 'sources'].
Mmm, Karl Urban...
Yes I am excited, and it’s because this will be an updated, ‘better-made’ version, but more importantly we have to wait a year! That’s right folks, the one thing I love about Empire is the yearly or two years wait they dish out to make your insides squeal with anxiety. Getting you all fired up for an epic-film-to-be only to stop playing with you, and leave you all cold and shivery. Errr….
With this month’s Empire magazine (different cover… blue I think), you’ll get sneak peeks at the new film, and other new films coming soon like Clash of the Titans 2 and the Amazing Spiderman! *Ahem* Anyway, all I wanted to say was Karl Urban is hot… and Judge Dredd will be amazing and Karl Urban will make the film unmissable! (from sources: it’s part of the build up for the 2000 AD films[s])…..

I had to check on IMDb who Karl Urban was because i did not recongise him with the helmet on and oh my god/goddess he is in all of my favourite films (well some), Two Towers and the Return Of the King, Ghost ship (that was the very first DVD i brought) the Chronicles of Riddick,Doom (i loved the game) and Star Trek. What was your first DVD?

I have all those films, but my first DVD was with him was Ghost Ship! I love him, lol! You know he was in line to be the next Bond, but D Craig got it instead? =]
